Podcast 3

UPDATE: I've taken this file down from my hostserver for the time being. If you ever want to hear it, drop me a note in the comments section of the blog. Drop me your email address and I'll get back to you.

This is a Chinese cooking soundscape I did in Halifax. Let me know what you think.

This is the beginning

This is the beginning. The first posting of many. These are some things on my mind this afternoon: I'll be finishing King's in about a month's time. Four weeks and counting. The open road lies in wait. I've been a nomad for years and I'll be heading on the road again. King's radio workshop instructor, Jamie Little sent me a job posting in Afghanistan. It'd be six month working as sound technician. Hey, hey, so maybe I'll be off somewheres:

And...

Here's a wicked-cool new technology - podcasting. This is an .mp3 file of me just talking, playing some music, whatever. It's like a phone call but not having to listen to me immediately - you can download this and burn it onto a CD-R or put it (if you've got the funds) on an MP3 player.

If you want to download it, just click on it (or right-click and hit "Save Target As" if that doesn't work). The file will download onto your computer. I'll have a new podcast every other week (or whenever). This is the future of radio, apparently.
If there's a problem with the link, it's because the Yahoo bandwidth has been exceeded temporarily. Try later on. It doesn't mean the file is gone.

Not all these podcasts will be up forever. The reason is because I don't have enough space on my host server. If you want any stories or files aired on a show (or for possible jobs) just post a comment:
